Healing Spell Updates
Heal values have been modified. The role each will play is presented in green.
| HEALING SPELLS |
Divine Light (BIG, SLOW, INEFFICIENT)
A large heal that heals a friendly target for 11100-12366 . Good for periods of heavy damage.
30% of base mana, 40 yd range, 3 sec cast
Holy Light (SMALL, SLOW, EFFICIENT)
Heals a friendly target for 4162-4637.
9% of base mana, 40 yd range, 3 sec cast
Flash of Light (MEDIUM, FAST, INEFFICIENT)
Heals a friendly target for 6907-7750
27% of base mana, 40 yd range, 1.5 sec cast
Holy Radiance (AOE, INSTANT, INEFFICIENT)
Heals all friendly targets within 20 yards for 683.58 every sec, diminishing on targets further away. Lasts 10 sec.
40% of base mana, Instant cast, 1 min cooldown
Holy Shock (SMALL/MEDIUM, INSTANT, EFFICIENT)
Blasts the target with Holy energy, causing 1399.45 to 1516.07 Holy damage to an enemy, or 3938.43 to 4266.63 healing to an ally.
8% of base mana, 20/40 yd range, Instant cast, 6 sec cooldown
Light of Dawn (AOE, INSTANT, 0 MANA)
Consumes all Holy Power to send a wave of healing energy before you, healing up to 5 of the most injured targets in your party or raid within a 30 yard frontal cone for 1008.96 to 1124.15 per charge of Holy Power.
Word of Glory (MEDIUM, INSTANT, 0 MANA)
Consumes all Holy Power to heal a friendly target for a specific amount per application of Holy Power.
Guardian of Ancient Kings (VARIABLE SIZE/AOE, INSTANT, 0 MANA)
Summons a Guardian of Ancient Kings to protect you for 30 sec. While active, your next 5 heals will cause the Guardian to heal the same target for the amount healed by your heal, and friendly targets within 10 yards of the target for 10% of the amount healed.

Holy Primary Skills
You get these for speccing into holy:
| Holy Shock |
Blasts the target with Holy energy, causing 314 to 340 Holy damage to an enemy, or 481 to 519 healing to an ally. |
| Meditation |
Allows 50% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting. |
| Walk in the Light |
Increases the effectiveness of your healing spells by 10%. |
| Spiritual Focus |
Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Flash of Light, Holy Light, and Divine Light by 70%. |
Your direct healing spells also place an absorb shield on your target for 10% of the amount healed lasting 8 sec. Absorb increased 1.25% per point of mastery.
OVERVIEW
Holy Power can grow up to 3 stacks and unleash the Word of Glory heal (above). Holy Power is accumulated through various sources including Holy Shock and healing your beacon directly (talented, below)

Protector of the Innocent (holy)
Casting a targeted heal on any target, except yourself, also heals you for 1240.83 to 1427.62.
Crusade (ret)
Increases the damage and healing of your Crusader Strike, Hammer of the Righteous, Templar's Verdict, and Holy Shock by [10%/20%/30%]. In addition, for 15 sec after you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor, your next Holy Light heals for an additional 100/200/300%.
Eternal Glory (prot)
Your Word of Glory has a 30% chance not to consume holy power.
Divinity (prot)
Increases all healing done by you and all healing effects on you by [2%/4%/6%].

Tower of Radiance (holy)
Directly healing the target of your Beacon of Light Flash of Light, Holy Light or Divine Light has a 33/66/100% chance to generate Holy Power.
Denounce (holy)
Reduces the mana cost of Exorcism by 25/50%. In addition, you have a 50/100% chance when casting Holy Shock to make your next Exorcism spell instant and cost no mana.
Last Word (holy)
Gives your Word of Glory a [30%/60%] increased critical chance when used on targets with 35% or less health.
Speed of Light (holy)
Grants 1/2/3% spell haste and reduces the cooldown of Holy Radiance by 30 sec. Casting Holy Radiance increases your movement speed by 20/40/60% for 4 sec.
Sacred Cleansing (holy)
Your Cleanse spell now also dispels 1 Magic effect
Enlightened Judgements (holy)
Your Judgement instantly heals you for [970 to 1081] / [1940 to 2162] and the range on your judgements is increased by 5/10 yards, also increases hit rating by 2/4% of spirit from items.
Clarity of Purpose (holy)
Reduces the casting time of your Holy Light and Divine Light spells by 0.15/0.35/0.5 sec.
Arbiter of the Light (holy)
Increases the critical effect chance of your Judgement and Templar's Verdict by [6%/12%].
(Used to be called Sanctified Light and HS and HL crit by 6% fully talented)
Blazing Light (holy)
Increases the damage of your Holy Shock and Exorcism by 10/20%.
(Used to be called Healing Light and a flat 12% healing increase...)
Blessed Life (holy)
Whenever you take direct damage you have a 50/100% chance to cause you to generate Holy Power. This effect cannot occur more than once every 8 seconds.
Paragon of Virtue (holy)
Reduces the cooldown of Divine Protection by 20 sec, Hand of Sacrifice by 30 sec and Avenging Wrath by 60 sec.
Divine Favor (holy)
Increases your spell casting haste by 20% and spell critical chance by 20% for 20 sec. / Instant, 3 min cooldown
Conviction (holy - not ret)
Gives you a 1/2/3% bonus to damage and healing for 15 sec after causing a critical effect from a weapon swing, spell, or ability. This effect stacks up to 3 times.
Daybreak (holy)
Your Flash of Light, Holy Light and Divine Light have a 20% chance to make your next Holy Shock not trigger a cooldown if used within 12 sec.
Infusion of Light
Your Holy Shock critical hits reduce the cast time of your next Holy Light and Divine Light by [0.75/1.5] sec. Increases the critical strike chance of Holy Shock by 5/10%.
^No longer works for instant flashes. Works with holy light only. No crit % increase on holy light. |
| BASELINE CHANGES |
Divine Shield can now be used with Avenging Wrath.
Blessing of Might (baseline)
Places a Blessing on the friendly target, increasing attack power by 10% and restoring 326.05 mana every 5 seconds for 1 hr. If target is in your party or raid, all party and raid members will be affected. Players may only have one Blessing on them per Paladin at any one time.
5% of base mana, 30 yd range, Instant cast
Resistance Aura (baseline)
Gives 145.16 additional Fire, Frost and Shadow resistance to all party and raid members within 40 yards. Players may only have one Aura on them per Paladin at any one time.

Lay on Hands (baseline)
cooldown reduced from 20 min to 10 min.
Old Spiritual Focus (spell interruption) changed to baseline holy (holy)
Forbearance effect no longer includes Divine Protection or self-targeted Lay on Hands.
Seal of Insight (baseline)
Fills the Paladin with divine power for 30 min, giving each single-target melee attack a chance to heal the Paladin for [0.15*AP+0.15*SPH] and restore 4% of the paladin's base mana. Only one Seal can be active on the Paladin at any one time. Unleashing this Seal's energy will deal [1+0.25*SPH+0.16*AP] Holy damage to an enemy and restore 15% of the Paladin's base mana.

Nerfs
These are direct nerfs to our class being presented in Cataclysm.

Improved Judgement (ret)
Increases the range of your Judgement by 20 yards.
^Only 30 yd judgements possible with this talent... the other 10 yards are buried in 2 points of holy talents
Beacon of Light (holy)
The target becomes a Beacon of Light to all members of your party or raid within a 60 yard radius. Each heal you cast on party or raid members will also heal the Beacon for 50% of the amount healed. Only one target can be the Beacon of Light at a time. Lasts 5 min.
6% of base mana, 60 yd range, Instant cast
^Works on all heals but now only 50%, 5 minutes instead of 1.
Divine Illumination removed (holy)
